SUMMARY OF CONTENTS:

PERFORMANCE REPORTS

To view the performance and results of your Creatives, open the Analytics drop down menu in the navigation tab and open Performance Reports.

This will take you to a page where you can view all your recent and upcoming drops. You can organize your Creatives by Brand, or search by campaign tag or date. For instance, you could decide to look at Creatives from all Brands that were dropped during July of 2016.

By default, the Creatives will be organized by date, with the newest Creatives - and those that have yet to be released - at the top of the list, with the Creatives from the beginning of the month at the bottom. You can change this by clicking on the various headers, so instead of organizing by Drop Date/Time you could organize alphabetically by Creative Name or numerically from Opens.

This screen gives you a quick look at the number of Recipients, Opens, Clicks, and Bounces for each completed drop. If you scroll to the bottom of the page, you can choose to Recalculate stats to make sure they're up-to-date, or Export full details to Excel. Since this will export all data, it's not the most efficient way to look at your drop details.

For a more detailed report, you have to navigate into Drop Details.

DROP DETAILS

To navigate into the Drop Details, click on either the Drop Date/Time in the first column (in the format Day Month Year Time, i.e. Mon Jul 18 10:00 AM) or on one of the three icons in the Reports column.

The three icons are, from left to right, the Google Analytics Icon, the Click Map Icon , and the Report Summary Icon .

Each report is located on the same page, though in different tabs, so you will be able to navigate to the other reports easily regardless of which icon you click on.

Whatever link you click will bring you to the Drop Details page, which has four sections, the first of which is also called Drop Details. This is where you will get more detailed information on your drop. You will also be able to export individual facets of your report (for instance, bounces and hard bounces).

At the bottom of the first Drop Details section, you can choose to Export Custom Bounce Report to Excel.

The section beneath Drop Details has three tabs: Google Analytics Reports, Click Map, and Summary Report

The Google Analytics Reports section is only available if you have enabled Google Analytics for the drop. It keeps track of, among other things, the Bounce Rate, Time on Site, Conversions, etc.

The Click Map section will show you an image of your Creative with each link highlighted so that you can see what percentage of total clicks each was responsible for.

The Summary Report section will open a Drop Summary, where you will see graphs depicting your deliverability, clicks, and opens.

The next section is the Link Summary Details, which shows you how many direct unique clicks each individual link has.

The final section is Full Drop Details, which includes the drop's campaign tags, its duration, the number of unsubscribes, etc.

At the very bottom of the page, you are given the option to Calculate Stats for each List/Segment.

GOOGLE ANALYTICS

Open the Analytics drop-down menu in the navigation tab and click Google Analytics to navigate to the page.

If you enabled Google Analytics for your email campaigns you will be able to see how your subscribers behaved once they reached your site. Page views, time on site, and sales are all accessible.

Drop & Campaign Comparison Tool

On this page, you can use the Drop & Campaign Comparison Tool to compare the performances of two separate campaigns or drops. Simply find the drops or campaigns you would like to compare in their respective drop-down menus, clicking add to choose each one at a time.

Once added, the drop/campaign(s) will show up in a section to the right under the small blue header Compared Items. If you add the wrong drop or campaign, simply click delete.

Google Analytics Query

As a MarketTraq user, you can use the Google Analytics Data API to customize a report for a profile based on your specifications. You specify the profile ID, dimensions, metrics, date range, and other parameters to indicate exactly what data you want.

While you can request any combination of metrics and dimensions, not all combinations are valid. When you request an invalid combination of dimensions and metrics, you will receive an error message indicating that you have made an invalid request.
